jQuery.GI.TheWall.js shows a list of thumbnail images on a grid, which when clicked will expand on a black background, showing the thumb at its natural aspect ratio.

Besides the image, text can also be displayed via AJAX calls, and the image can be hidden and only the text shown.

Sideways navigational arrows are automatically added for helping the user advance through the gallery one image at a time, but the user can actually click any thumb he wants and load it in the center.

A close button is present as well, for minimizing the photo and returning to the thumbnail view.

jQuery.GI.TheWall.js also supports mobile devices and keyboard navigation.

A demo is included with the jQuery.GI.TheWall.js download package.
